You really think the inside looks “brilliant”? Where are you from? China? Because I think we Americans got stuff like this out of our systems in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Thus, as with most other matters of style in China, it makes sense that a building like this would be rather popular for the Shanghainese in 2005. Tell me what you think about it five years from now. Or five months.

here is my idea, change the classical music art center to Shanghai Rock’n’roll Art Center.
Looks like they were channeling Singapore’s Esplanade, the durians.
