Honolulu Habitat for Humanity
Honolulu Habitat for Humanity (HHH) is the affiliate on Oahu which builds on the North Shore, the Windward side and the City and County of Honolulu. Our affiliate was formed in 1988 and since then has built 63 homes on Oahu. All our funding is local, coming from individuals, businesses, churches, and foundations.
To confront the staggering housing challenges many of our neighbors face in a troubled economy, Honolulu Habitat has set a bold goal to build 50 homes in the next five years, more than tripling our rate of production since 1988. We need you to help us meet this goal.
Last year, Honolulu Habitat volunteers logged over 2,500 hours to support all aspects of our work, from making lunches to hanging drywall. Our community also contributes significantly to help us cover annual costs which currently total $680,000.
