Currently, 50% of costs to build each home is already paid for in grants.  Our staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to secure funding from a diverse array of sources.  Unfortunately we are unable to begin building until we secure funding for the entire cost of the build.

Our generous sponsors provide financial and volunteer support in our effort to eliminate substandard housing. Sponsorship provides company management and employees a way to give back to the communities where they work, build teamwork, and increase community good will and visibility of Habitat’s projects. For a church, sponsorship offers a unique opportunity for the congregation to put their faith into action. Above all, the combined efforts of the sponsor and Habitat for Humanity,  address the problem of poverty housing and homelessness with a sustainable solution.

An investment in Honolulu Habitat for Humanity represents one of the most visible investments on Oahu that you or your organization can make. The initial investment of time and materials will pay a lifetime of dividends for the entire Honolulu community.

Help us rebuild Oahu – one house at a time! A house sponsor agrees to:

• Provide financial support toward the construction of a house. Partial and full sponsorships are available. The cost of a full-house sponsorship is $85,000.

• Encourage company/organization/church workers to volunteer at the sponsored house and see tangible results of their efforts. Working at Habitat builds have proven to be excellent team-building experiences.
